Our spring break mission trip didn’t happen, thanks to the virus. We did, however, get to know some folks from Noel in the southwest corner of Missouri. Needs there are great with many internationals working low-paying jobs and just the issues immigrants experience. We would like to continue to help there.
First Baptist Church of St. James is receiving donations of non-perishable foods, toiletries, and cleaning supplies from January 1, 2021-January 31, 2021. If you would like for you and/or your church to participate, the contact person there is Jayne Worstell at 573-308-6639.
If you would like to help by sending a monetary donation, you can send it to the association office here: Phelps County Baptist Association, 409 Sheron Avenue, Rolla, MO 65401.
Community Baptist in Noel would like to be able to build a shower facility in their building. If you would like to contribute to that effort with your skills or contributions, please contact the office: 573-364-8313. We’ll have more information on that soon.
We would like to send a team from PCBA churches to help in the future, but victory over the virus will determine how soon we can to that.
